In my work history as a social worker, I have always worked within the LGBTQ community. Starting in 2005, I worked with homeless LGBTQ youth in NYC with the Ali Forney Center. I created and managed a new LGBTQ youth program in the Lower East Side and held the role of LGBT Health & Human Services Coordinator at Grand Street Settlement. And have worked closely with gender affirming medical providers at the HEAT Program in Brooklyn.
While studying social work, I minored in Gender & Sexuality Studies at NYU. Additional LGBTQ-specific trainings I have attended have included: Advanced Creative Therapy Techniques with LGBT Youth, as well as Transference/countertransference with LGBTQ Patients.

I work with a lot of queer folks in my current practice- which focuses on anxiety, depression and managing life transitions. I also help write support letters for gender-affirming care and surgery.
